Mystery Early 1980s HLC Ware

A recent blog visitor has asked if we know anything about this ivory-colored HLC ware. They were apparently sold in boxed placesettings for 4 at Sears in about 1980--6 years before the re-introduction of Fiesta in 1986. As you can see from the top photo, the pieces have the "standard" HLC ink backstamp. The soup/cereal bowls have flat rims with concentric, Fiesta-like rings. Let us know if you know anything about these pieces!

Isn't there a shape called Heartland (something like that) from the 80's that has the concentric rings?
