HLCCA Bylaws Ballot

ATTENTION HLCCA MEMBERS --

Dear HLCCA Members:
In conjunction with the Bylaws Committee, additional review by our legal counsel, and many hours expended by the Board, the proposed revised HLCCA Bylaws have now been approved by the Board. Now it is your turn to weigh in by voting on them. As stated in our current bylaws, “Upon approval of the Board, the proposed amendments will be submitted to the Association membership for ratification. The proposed amendment(s) will be deemed ratified unless a majority of the Association members vote against it.”

The proposed revised bylaws have been posted on the HLCCA web site (www.hlcca.org) for your review and consideration. On the home page, you will see a link to the proposed revised bylaws. Ballots to approve or reject the bylaws are in the mail and on the way to you.

Once you have had an opportunity to read the bylaws, cast your vote for or against them.Once received, please read the ballot carefully. BALLOTS WITHOUT NAMES (PRINT NAME FOR LEGIBILITY) OR DATES WILL NOT BE COUNTED. We need your name to compare to your membership and ensure that your vote was received within the voting period.

When you are ready to vote, complete and return your ballot in the pre-addressed envelope provided (stamp required). BALLOTS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN JANUARY 16, 2016. BALLOTS POSTMARKED AFTER JANUARY 16, 2016, WILL BE CONSIDERED INELIGIBLE AND NOT COUNTED.

In addition to the proposed revised bylaws, we have posted the updated Members’ Code of Ethics and Conduct. While you are viewing the proposed revised bylaws, please be sure to review this document as well.

If you have questions, please reach out to your zone representative or send a note to info@hlcca.org.

Sincerely,
The HLCCA Board of Directors
