More news from Chicago!!

HLC has also announced that the Jam Jar will officially join the Fiesta dinnerware line. Those of you who attended last year's HLCCA conference in Pittsburgh, PA will no doubt recall that Dave Conley displayed (and generously gave away) a couple of pre-production jam jars during his seminar.

Going once, going twice...

As promised, here are some more details about the Friday night auction at this year's conference in Nashville, TN:

Andy Flachs and Jeff Kolodey are ready to start taking consignments for the auction. The number of lots will be limited this year, with a projected 75 consignments (give or take a few). Consignments will be accepted on a "first come, first served" basis, with the auction committee making the final decision on the items that will be put up for bid. You are encouraged to consign rarer, better-quality items rather than more common pieces. Damaged items will not be accepted for auction. Members who would like to consign items may contact Andy Flachs at ajflachs@adams.net or Jeff Kolodey at jkolodey@wkblue.net.

The auction will start with a preview at 6:30 pm on Friday, July 16th, with the auction beginning at 7:00 PM. With a limited number of high-quality items, we hope to finish the auction earlier than at previous conferences so that attendees will still have time to take in a little Nashville nightlife! Andy and Jeff will also be creating a Facebook page dedicated to the auction, which will include photos of the consigned items with more details about the auction.

Keep checking our blog and Facebook page for more details in the coming weeks!

With 125 votes tallied, PINK was voted the most likely new Fiesta dinnerware color (39%), followed closely by BLUE (31%). NONE OF THE ABOVE got 17%, a new NEUTRAL got 10% and GREEN got a lowly 1%. Oh well, we'll just have to see who's correct later this month in Chicago. Stay tuned!
